Their goal with Pathful:

Gwinnett County Public Schools
aimed to achieve several
objectives through Pathful:
fostering engaging programs and
courses that illuminate diverse
pathways to students' futures,
redefining the essence of CTE
education for all stakeholders, and
enhancing students' preparedness
to navigate their career decisions
confidently.
How we found success:
GCPS realized the time and follow-
through needed to make a district
wide implementation successful. They
have worked closely with their
Customer Success Manager to
schedule in-depth trainings that allow
teachers to dive deep into Pathful’s
resources and make plans for how to
use the tools in their classrooms.
Impact:
Speaking on the impact of Pathful, Dr.
Kyle Jones, the Director of Academies
and CTE for GCPS said “ Especially
when you talk about it from the lens
of an individual teacher, [Pathful]
really helped an individual teacher
feel like they had a tool that helped
students explore career interests and
start conversations around careers. It
gave [teachers] some points of
reference that they didn’t have prior,
which I think is incredibly valuable.”
He went on to note how it has
positively impacted his counseling
staff, and how it is changing the
perception of Career and Technical
Education in Gwinnett County as a
whole.
How they use Pathful:
GCPS has incorporated Pathful into
not only CTE courses and advisory
programs, but also offers the
platform to all middle and high
school students. This enhanced
accessibility has not only boosted
platform usage among students
eager to explore career options but
has also garnered interest from
teachers utilizing the Employability
Skills Library to impart soft skills or
integrate career education
components into their lessons.
