Week 1: CHOOSE YOUR CAREER
Videos: Have students watch the Virtual Job Shadow videos for their top 3 careers, then fill out the
Career Journal
Goal Setting: After watching a video about each career, have students set a series of goals to achieve
that career using the goal setting tool
Compare Careers: Use career profiles to compare roles by skills, education, outlook, and work
environment.
Week 2: EXPLORE YOUR CAREER
Career Lessons: Assign a 'Exploring CTSOs' series and find the lesson that aligns with your path or
current involvement (BPA, DECA, FCCLA, HOSA, FFA, SkillsUSA, TSA)
Resume Builder: Create a standout resume! Competition season is just around the corner
Week 3: CTSO PREP
Videos: Have students find and watch an employability skills video aligned to their career goals, then fill
out the Employability Journal for each skill
Courses: Assign a micro-credential earning course in any of our 7 employability skills courses
Week 4: EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS
